Access Corrections™ Introduces New Technology, Access Secure Intake™

Access Corrections™ was created to host all of Keefe Group’s technology service offerings in early 2009.  Access Secure Intake™ is the latest addition, joining the popular inmate deposit, email, MP3, and pod kiosk lines.

Access Secure Intake™ is a booking kiosk designed to collect money from new inmates in a secure fashion with minimal officer interaction.  It relies on a virtual cash drawer that is directly associated with the kiosk and therefore cannot be manipulated.  The drawer is closed every time the kiosk is emptied and a new drawer is immediately opened for continual use.

By eliminating the need for officers to count incoming cash and coins, Access Secure Intake™ not only reduces facility workload and the costs associated with the intake process, but eliminates the possibility of human error.
